Breathtaking speed, amazing control and stability
The Topaz Cat 16 is furiously fast and fun yet very forgiving and simple to sail. She has been designed by two of the most legendary Olympic CAT sailors and reknown boat designers: Yves Loday and Rob White.

Manageable performance for all-comers
The perfect manners of the Topaz 16 CAT mean she is very accessible to all levels and sizes of sailors and it is also a very simple catamaran to rig. It is a great way for anybody even including lightweight or relatively inexperienced sailors to sail at very high speeds whilst remaining totally in control.

Very very durable
The hulls are constructed using the now famous Topaz rota-moulded technique in TRILAM polyethylene. Therefore, the hulls are extremely tough and durable and require virtually no maintenance.

Great value for money
The construction method is extremely cost effective making it a very affordable catamaran. The NEW Topaz Cat 16 will undoubtedly appeal equally to hot shot youngsters and couples. The ideal weight combination would be between 100kgs to 150kgs. It is a great way for anybody even including lightweight or relatively inexperienced sailors to sail at very high speeds whilst remaining totally in control.

Upgradeable
The Topaz 16 also has three rig options - all of which use the same mast, hulls, crossbeams, trampoline and rudders so you can upgrade rigs without having to order a brand new boat.

Topaz Cat 16 C
The standard version, the Topaz Cat 16 C features a twin trapeze and a Mylar main and jib.

The basic model is called the Topaz 16 CAT S. The S stands for schools and the package that includes single trapeze and Dacron main and jib is an ideal teaching set up.

The standard version, the Topaz 16 CAT C features a twin trapeze and a Mylar main and jib.

Then there's the ultimate top end version, the Topaz 16 CAT CX which has the extra turbo power of the asymmetric gennaker to go with the twin trapeze. This is a fabulously fast catamaran which despite it's impressive speed always remains very easily controlled.
